Hive Riot is a working farm. We manage hives across multiple counties, extract honey seasonally, and work with landowners on ag-exemption placement.

It's not a petting zoo. It's not a public event venue. But we do occasionally host small groups who want to learn about beekeeping, see the operation up close, and understand what goes into producing real local honey.

Everything here is case by case. By appointment. No walk ins. No scheduled tours. Just inquiry based visits that work for both sides.

  • Homeschool Groups

Beekeeping as hands on science. Pollination, agriculture, and how food systems actually work.

  • Teachers & Educators

Field trips that aren't sanitized. Real working farm. Real bees. Real learning.

  • Curious Humans

People who want to know where their honey comes from and see beekeeping in action.

What You Might See

Depending on the season and what we're working on, a visit might include opening a hive (with proper gear), watching an extraction, learning about seasonal forage patterns, or just talking shop about why local honey matters.

We don't have a script. We don't have a brochure. What you see is what's actually happening that day.

Our kids are often involved. They've grown up in the operation and know more about bee behavior than most adults. If that's the kind of real, messy, family run agriculture you want your group exposed to, we're happy to talk.
